In Tortilla Soup the introduction of the film shows the food by representing how the food is prepared to cook at his house. The food present is Spanish food with a different way of cooking. In Eat Drink Man Woman, the introduction of the film by the master chef cooks his Chinese preparation with fish and chicken in the first clip of the movie. The representation of the food shows the visual of cutting, sliding and types of food in the kitchen to the audience.
